Jones Estate Cleanouts donated a dining room set, a large bedroom set, a new 3-foot stainless steel refrigerator, several handicap walkers, lamps, and more to Operation Katrina Relocation on June 30, 2006, to benefit families that continue to relocate to Morris County from the Gulf Coast following Hurricane Katrina. Owners Dave and Tammy Jones were introduced to Operation Katrina Relocation through the Kiwanis Club of Mount Olive, of which both are members. After Hurricane Katrina the Joneses made several related donations including furniture, clothing, and transportation services.

Operation Katrina Relocation is a grassroots organization of volunteers working closely with county aid agencies. Its goal is to relocate 20 families to Morris County and provide them with what they’ll need to re-build their lives: housing, employment, medical services and more.
